...Today, I left my sweet Oxford.




Amazing the adventures a day can bring. I never could've imagined all the Lord would have me do or where I would go. Now to continue to seek His adventures for today... wherever they may lead.

Young & Old

Reflection on the young and old...

Yesterday...

I dressed a 2 year old and an 82 year old.
I helped a 2 year old find her chair.
I helped an 82 year old find her chair.
I made a 2 year old lunch.
I made an 82 year old dinner.

Objectively speaking there is little difference in the externalities of what I was doing.

The two year old is taking hold of independence and self sufficiency while the 82 year old is slowly relinquishing hers out of necessity.

For the 2 year old, this is all she knows, all she needs to know, for now.
For my Grandmother, she need to know someone else is handling her needs.

The 2 things I need - love and patience.
